Despite the updated sleek interior, the Saggio di vino food philosophy remains unchanged. Renowned culinary duo Lisa Scholz and Yommi Pawelke create a new European-influenced menu to showcase local, seasonal ingredients. An acclaimed ‘wine library’ matches the novel fare. The cured rabbit loin with lentil salad, pear and balsamic vinegar (pictured) makes many the appearance as does the steak tartare, the caramelised scallops with cauliflower purée, pancetta, radish & herb salad, plus a killer 200g rib eye steak fixed up with duck-fat fries and café de Paris butter. Too good.
