Kura sells and exhibits an extensive range of quality Maori and New Zealand made art and design, and represents both established and emerging artists from around New Zealand.
Driven by a passion for supporting the growth of Maori art and design, Kura is a licensed Toi Iho stockist – the mark of authentic Maori made arts and crafts.
Centrally located spaces in both Auckland and Wellington mean that regular Maori art showcases and exhibitions can be accessed easily.
Kura also has an exhibition space in the PWC Tower in Auckland (next to the present Kura). It was officially opened and blessed on 4 November 2010 at a significant carving exhibition (Te Toi Whakairo Rua – The Art of Carving II).
