This is one of the most unique bars we’ve found in ‘the new Auckland’ scene. Their approach is authentic and simple with fresh takes on classic cocktails using the traditional Japanese spirit, Shōchū. Using infusions of earl grey, juniper berries, three citrus types, raisins, pineapple and basically anything else, this booze really is quite something. A sublime Japanese whisky list presents nicely here also, while a bite can include anything from duck spring rolls to spiced beef short rib pickled cucumber, wasabi mayonnaise steamed buns and Fukuko fried chicken.
